John Woo's The Killer getting 4K box set release

Coming out in April this year via Arrow, sweet looking 4K box set of one of the greatest and most influential action movies ever made

Even the Blu-ray I have still has a grainy VHS quality about it, can't wait to finally see this in full UHD

I'm watching it right now, it's one of those movies I prefer the dubbed version too

Just had a showing of Hard Boiled at the theater. Cool interview at the end where Woo talks about it being so much easier to make movies in China than here. They basically give him whatever he wants and don't care.

I got this when it came out for free
They're selling it for $50

Would never spend that on this BUT it is one of the most beautiful transfers I own. Love this movie. Can't wait to grab A Better Tomorrow 4K whenever that releases. I do not want the trilogy.

The Killer and A Better Tomorrow will be released in theaters as well. I lve always liked these 2 over Hard Boiled.

Regal cinema is showing them across the US.

A better tomorrow is playing on March 1,2 and 4th

The killer is playing on April 5th, 6th, and 8th

There may be others playing at different regal locations as not all regal locations will show all the movies in some is the special events.

1. Dollars Trilogy from arrow
2. Ninja turtles trilogy from arrow
3. The killer from shout factory

All 3 beautifully well done and came in awesome box sets.

Arrow video is my favourite and if i didn't get this for free I would have bought the arrow release over shout. Just a huge fan of arrow.

Arrow is also releasing the extended cut which i didn't even know existed.

I think Wild Style was the only 4K I bought last year, that may have been Arrow.
