Thought the first one was mindless gamer shit. A zillion headshots, no story to speak of, all goofy characters. Really felt like a movie directed by a stunt coordinator... and as it turns out, it was.

Still, I'll probably check out the sequel just for the visual factor.

Agreed. Everything was too clean cut as far as action. Enjoyed it, but didn't really think it was great.

There was a story. Sure it's not a complex story with twists and turns, but not everything needs to be.

Yeah i know. But there are a few action movies where the sequel was just as good as the first. The raid 2, the dark knight, undisputed 2, blade 2..

If it got like 80% of the badass feel from the first, its still gonna be a great ride.

Yikes. Jonh Wick = one of the best revenge films of the past decade.
