John Wayne Parr admits to having verbal & physical tourettes

The contrast between the somewhat humorous take he has on it on the second vid compared to the reality of the more recent IG video is brutal. Absolutely no control over it.. hearing "stop" followed by the sobbing is so heartwrenching

Thankfully as of 2 hours ago he has gotten meds for it

Getting punched in the head is harmful to ones mental health. I thought that it was common knowledge...

This one really scared me, to see such a humble, loveable guy brought to tears is heart wrenching. Sad he's still young (not in fighting but in life), I hope the medication helps and it doesn't deteriorate into anything worse as he ages. I've only competed 20 times myself but seeing stuff like this really makes a man think twice about competing, especially when it's one of your idols.

I developed Epilepsy after some prominent scarring on my frontal lobe and some bulging disc's in my neck collaborated.
I suspect its mostly thanks to jumping in between MMA, Muay Thai and Boxing training camps for a long time.
Its good that retired fighters are starting to talk about it more openly, but the conversation is still not out there or properly understood as much as it could be.

(This story is scary as f*** https://www.mmafighting.com/2021/1/12/21554602/the-cost-of-being-the-king-spencer-fisher-ufc )

Anyone know a good way to try and contact him? I've been seeing a lot stories of people healing from severe neurological disorders and traumatic brain injury from using peptides like cerebrolysin and cortexin and other modalities like plasmagens.
