John Kavanagh article explains Conor's point of view

I see both sides on this, but in the end sacrificing several days for this press conference is the least problematic choice. Now its a big mess that didn't need to happen and everybody loses.

danas story is its not fair to everyone else

.....literally zero fucks given by the fighters on stage

.....less than zero fucks given by nate

NEXT QUESTION! lol

I honestly believe the UFC believes Conor to be worth the money he is asking. I also believe they will never give in to his demands because it sets a precedent for all the other fighters who don't have the good notion they should be getting paid more.

Conor needs a new coach. Sorry but this guy isn't very bright. He hasn't even digested the fact that Conor isn't fighting at 200 yet... The whole camp is delusional.

UFC smacking down the upstart

Conor acting like a spoilt 8 year old because he didn't get his way ( ran his mouth then got his ass beat by Nate). Now his running from the very thing he use to thrive on - media and hype. If it was 3 weeks away from the fight fair enough but 3 months is a poor effort.

Wow. Excuse after excuse after excuse. He needs to just shut up and coach because his damage control is terrible.

Kavanagh wrote an entire column to basically say that Conor is scared of Diaz.

Kavanagh basically admits to prima donna behavior here. "If you make more money for the company, you get the bigger office."

Remember when fighters used to be inspiring? Too much talk lately about how much money they deserve, how much money they make, and how they pay their bills. Fighters should not be treated differently because they generate more money. That road leads to a whole lot of fucking bullshit, and that's not what fans want.

Im still kind of curious how anyone thinks his request was valid. He lost so wants to skip all media obligations for extra time to train? He comes across as a really, really insecure guy

werent you pretty much the biggest aldo cheerleader of all time leading up to the conor fight? wasnt that you who was outright mocking the idea that conor even belonged in the same cage as him?

if so try to turn down the hate. its one thing to be biased but another to have the bitterness of a scorned lover

I can see Conor point, but rules are rules. This seems to be were the UFC draws the line. You have to show up for the press conferences or you get pulled.

Huh? This isn't about getting more money, it's a dispute over media obligations.

I honestly don't think this will be a huge deal. I suspect he'll fight at 201 or 202 with reduced media obligations. An extra month or two for an unnecessary cash grab rematch...life will go on.

Do you even read bro??

They're training incase there's a pull out and Conor can step in as a late replacement

We're talking about an article Kavanagh wrote. I'm sure he appreciates you trying to shift the focus but....that doesn't change the contents of the article.

Kav came across decent there ... credit for that
But he conveniently left off that Cor was not doing the commercial (which was the biggest thing) & that Zuffa offered to build him a complete gym & fly his partners in.

But he did not rip Zuffa, so credit to him

ok it was you

im sure it would be funny to dig up all your confident rants on how conor has a snowballs chance in hell and those picking him are idiots

now youre going to pretend like this is totally irrelevant. the biggest aldo supporter on the site now has great issue with conors coach. yes of course, no bias here lol

Good article that explains their point of view well. The amount of salt in this thread is unreal.
