John Gotti Could Be Big Hit in UFC

In tonight’s fight he grabbed the fence twice, both times preventing a take down. He’s a steroid creation for sure. I don’t think he has enough potential to live up to his name,

Gotti has to work on his ground game. It seems he gets into guard and gets locked down for long periods of time.

His stand up is good. John Gotti has been wacking his opponents. They are intimidated when they go for they go for the walk (out) with Gotti.

I got two questions:
1. Why UFC, why not another org, promotion, independent label? this is how you feed the monopoly.

2. Are you really willing to pay to watch a fight, where is some one famous' grandson? And this is nowhere compatible against Gracie family lineage or anything like that.

John Gotti III continued to build his MMA prospect status on Friday when he picked up a fourth consecutive victory to begin his career, this time by slam knockout.

Gotti III (4-0) showed solid composure as his opponent, David Espino (3-3), came out trying to take him down right away in the lightweight bout, which took place at Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Conn.

Unfortunately for Espino, the favorite Gotti III had a response when he scooped him up in the air and delivered a violent slam on the shoulder and head. Espino couldn’t withstand the impact. He covered up and Gotti III landed a flurry of punches to force the TKO stoppage at the 1:36 mark of Round 1.

[ . . . ]

After the win, Gotti III was asked how far he thinks he can go in the sport and gave a confident response.

“We’re going to go as far as we want to go,” Gotti III said. “It’s all about hard work, dedication, training as hard as we can and staying focused. We’re going to take it one fight at a time.”

Yes, as an American based fighter why would you want to fight for the biggest org in the USA?
Why would you want to fight for the org than on average pays the best?

I would believe as a fighter you are all about feeding your self first... if it feeds the monopoly or what ever is secondary..

A slam KO?
If he keeps delivering people will pay to watch is fight no matter what his name is..

The use of "we" is super common in both boxing and MMA though. You must get outraged almost every week.

Not really since I never listen to any interviews.
Also hating is not the same as outrage.

Better for him yes, but for the sport? I would rather him go to a smaller org (with good enough comp for him) so his name can strengthen them.
