John Cleese vs. Rowan Atkinson

Maybe start with series 2-4 mate

I like the first series, but it's definitely the odd one out and is probably best viewed after series 2-4

Truth. First season was extremely dark and though it had its moments they most definitely hadn't gotten it together but after that (partly in thanks to bringing on board Ben Elton as joint script writer) it improves immensely and it's definitely up there in the top 5 tv comedies of all time. Atkinson of course is always on point in it but it has an incredible supporting cast and some great cameo appearances too.

Very tough one to call. Fawlty Towers and Blackadder are 2 of my fav sitcoms of all time. Both made me literally cry with tears of laughter and both Atkinson and Cleese are true comedy geniuses.
