He only became a threat when Joe turned around and got in his face. So if you want to play games and say the short drunk idiot was a threat, he only became a threat because Joe chose him to be one.

Joe shouldn't have pushed him to the side like that even though the drunk dude should have watched where he was going as well. The dude should not have flexed indicating that he was either going to hit him or make him flinch. The dude made the threatening gesture and got laid out for it. There was a lot wrong going on there...but some people here are playing pretend on either side a little too much just to win an argument here. Now before anyone gets too butthurt about what I say here I will also say that I am not exactly a complete innocent law abiding citizen here so take it for what it's worth.

This is a story of a dude getting stabbed in his sleep by a home intruder, killing the home intruder, and STILL doing 5 years in prison for taking it too far, to me that seems insane, but that's how the court system is, you have to be 1000000% in the right to get away with assaulting someone

Exactly. The guy was drunk and just finished up his shift at Bank of America. The only combo he probably knows is the #1 at Inn n Out. Joe is just a meathead asshole with a giant chip on his shoulder. I guess getting slept twice by Kato, in mma and kickboxing, will give you a hairtrigger and make you hate the world

Watch again..schilling turns around with hands down and open and the guy comes forward...and does the flinch...

Someone turning around to assualt someone isnt having there hands in a non fight stance by there side open...especially if they have training ..

jos turned around to address the yelling threat from behind and to not leave himself open to being attacked blindly from behind..

The moving or adjusting as he was walking is litterally nothing..he didnt fucking throw him..he tried to avoid the guy stumbling about dancing in the hallway between the booth and bar backwards

I haven't commented on this yet but I saw the video like 30 mins ago from someone sending it to me, and now see the thread. It's fucking clear that Schilling was kind of looking for this

You can also sort of equate this in the way you did to the opposite i.e. - Would a child threatening to hit you or a 12 year old or a 14-16 year old 115lb soaking wet kid warrant you CLOCKING them?

The whole thing is sus. Schilling comes off as a douchebag in general and here especially, it seems almost set up.

you can’t go to a loud ass bar, walk up behind folks who have been drinking, push them out of the way and if they give you a little shit turn around in their face and take any sudden movement by them as justification to smash them in the face a few times.

why the fuck go to some dive place blasting 50 cent like that and get so offended you bump into tipsy folks that you’re swinging on them 5 seconds. It’s stupid to put yourself in that situation and react like he did.
