If a guy is paying me good money for a few minutes of lousy work, I’d consider him a good guy too.

Gotta think he makes a couple million dollars a year to sit cage side and talk about the fight. Even if he has 100 million already, a few more million to have fun with your buddies at the fights seems like a good reason to kiss your bosses ass occasionally.

Shelving fighters who refuse to honor their contract. I dont say I like him all im saying is that I only know what the media writes about him and its almost always him reacting to stuff like Costa demanding more money after a loss just because some youtuber makes more than him which is very childish behavior indeed.
Maybe he is not a perfect person but I doubt he is nowhere near half as bad as people here say.

Why shelve them? Why take away their ability to make money? Why not just let them out of the contract and get rid of them? Oh I know why, you’re a dick in business where shit changes but you have a shitty contract structure that takes advantage of a person who’s most likely not in position to do anything other than sign. Then they make names for themselves and definitely not because your org actually promotes them. Give me a break. The clues are out there. Matter of fact they aren’t even clues. It’s all around you. How bad do you have to be to have your own mother think you're a total douchebag and not even show up at your Grandma's funeral? His mom doesn't come off as any prize either but she's the one who worked long hours as a nurse to put Dana through private school (where he met the Fertittas). His grandmother drove him around. Dana then threw them both to the curb when he got successful just like he does his fighters.

His mom also pointed out that Dana lived a very comfortable, even spoiled life growing up. Nothing at all like the "kid from the mean streets of Boston" that he tries to portray himself as. That's why nobody can ever find any records of him being even an amateur fighter. His whole persona is manufactured.

Dana has become awfully self absorbed. I don't think he is a great guy by any standard. Professionally, he has done a lot for MMA. The fighters are getting screwed but the major reason that there is actually big money in MMA is Dana white and the UFC.
He uses his position to literally screw fighters and ring girls, he is a horrible to his wife and family with his lack of discretion.
Rogan is just a Kardashian for young men. He is fine for the UFC fights but he has a big forum and he is irresponsible. I am guessing he'd be less friendly to Alex Jones if one of his kids were killed at Sandy Hook.. I don't think I'd view a Rogan endorsement as the good housekeeping seal of approval.

Nobody is all good or all bad. Dana seems like he’s a decent man about a lot of things. But he definitely doesn’t mind burying fighters that he’s got “beef” with.

Dana made the UFC big and Rogan's audience grew with it.
He is a hard worker, but basically average at everything he does.
Therefore Dana's work made him millions. Of course he says he is a saint.

Without him, he would be just another bald dward making 50k a year.
