Has anyone tried making these using the same stuff as Joe? They are suppose to taste awful but be extremely good for you. What is everyone's opinions? I currently make a protein shake with water only but i'm looking to add more things.

White belt with only a few posts, posts a link to some shitty, obscure website....yeah that's not spam. Fuck off TS.

I see TS has 3 posts, and 2 are linked to that shitty website. So here's what I'm going to do TS. If you post another link to that website, spamming my beloved Sherdog, I will post your name, number, and address. Deal, Tim?

Oh dear, you've only gone and done it Tim!!!

I am using these to lose weight. I feel good except the terrible bowel movements. I wonder if having bad stomach problems impacts your overall health? Or if its just about the sources you get your food from

I put 2 bananas in with my kale and it masks the taste of the kale. makes it nice a sweet

Joe Rogan is a joke to me. Kale shake? You're juiced to the gills you liar. So healthy though.

In my completely uneducated opinion, you don't need crazy recipes to make a good shake.

My basic recipe is...

1 banana
1 apple
1 tin of peaches (no added sugar etc)
Small handful of raw nuts (usually peanuts because they're cheap)
Large handful of green leafy vegetables (usually spinach)
Rice milk (personal preference, soy/almond/regular milk will do too or even water)

Blend the fuck out of it. Drink.

That's it. Tastes good, full of goodness and easy and quick to make. I often add an extra banana and apple with a bunch more milk and make a double serve. Keeps me full for like half the day. I'll also add pears, plums, berries, carrots etc if I feel like it.

If you're using Kale, a little tip is to add a leaf or two of fresh mint (super easy to grow, it's basically a weed). The mint complements/covers the bitter Kale taste nicely.
