Following up on the Bo Nickal vs Chimp debate, Joe Rogan weighed in on the man vs. monkey debate.

Cliffs:

In terms of the chimp vs human debate he says that no human has a chance in a fight against a chimp.

From 12.46 he talks about having a chimp with him News Radio and feeling the strength of a baby chimp. Even its light pats on the back made Joe wince.

Jim Breuer talks about the feel of a chimp's skull on Saturday night live – like a coconut.

Reiterates the myth about chimps being four times the strength of a man.

Other notes about monkey fights:

Would rather fight a 155lbs trained man than a 35lbs monkey.

Is uncertain whether he could defeat a 35lbs Rhesus Monkey in a fight - feels he could but would suffer exponential damage.

Talks about monkeys stealing babies in India and Indonesia.

Comments on footage of a monkey scalping a man.

Speculates on the best strategies to fight a monkey would be piledriving it into the ground or adopting a Khalil Rountree-style leg kicks approach and managing distance

Says it would take ten years of training and intense steroid programme for Jim Breuer to fight 35lbs monkey

Eventually convinces Jim Breuer not to fight a monkey

There's a lot of old data out there.
Modern science says Chimps are 1,5 times stronger than humans.

So chimps have a max of 195 pounds of human strength
- max 5 feet
- max 130 pounds
- smaller reach
- Mind and fight training of a 5 year old, super aggressive though.

Chimps go at you and start throwing left and right, but punching technique is like kids.
Mean teeth and leathery skin though.
They would have a problem to reach a grown fighters head with significant power though.
Not sure about their cardio either with twice as many fast twitch muscle and no training.

Against a UFC lightweight at out of competition weight of 172
I could see the human utilizing eyepokes with superior height and reach and attacking the balls at close.

Of course the fighter would go out of that fight severly injured. No question there.

Yeah, I don't want to fight a creature that at least matches the strength of the strongest humans, has pure killer instinct, razor teeth, and lacks human empathy.

Make the monkey at least 60 lbs and I'd take the human. I can handle any animal weighing 35 lbs.

Jacco macacco rules again!!

Ngannou vs 35LB chimp for africa title set it up

Me neither, apes got empathy though. They just can be more aggressive.
An estimated of 25% in prison inmates fit the psychopath criteria.
I'm going out on a limb, but I'd say the rate is higher in the ufc.

Rogan would beg to differ. In the video he states that he feels a 35 lbs monkey has a similar strength to a human but much more agility and as many have said fights dirty.

They do, but I question if they have it to the level the average human does, especially in a life or death fighting situation.

Who knows though. There's a disturbingly great deal of people willing to kill in a fight, too. I just don't if there are an apes that would let up.

Humans can fight dirty too. In a life or death scenario I'm gonna be poking eyes and kicking balls.

Depends on the ref, but if it’s one from the UFC, I’m extracting its eyes (the chimp’s, not the ref’s, I’m not a POS) from their sockets while making chimp balls pudding. While grabbing the fence, because I can.

Just read that chimps also try to rip off balls <45>
So it would be a fight between two species smart enough to try to rip off each others balls.

Would you be able to bite off a monkey's scalp and tear it off to the bone though? You can see it at 7.17 of the Rogan video.
