He screamed at every little thing AL did towards the end even if it was nothing. Meanwhile completely silent on all the shots Khabib was landing. i remember at one point it was like 126 strikes to 18 and hes like "EACH JUAN OF THOSE 18 CAN END THE FIGHT". KHABIB IS BEATABLE BLAH BLAH BLAH
 
You're forgetting how far Joe had Khabib's balls down his throat during the build up
 
No. He loves khabib. It's just that it was crazy that for a few rounds it was al that was punching the pace. And he landed some good shots. It was overall impressive by ianquinta

I think Rogan looked a lot of things in his criticism towards Khabib and his perspective on Conor.

Yes, Conor is more dangerous than Al in the stand-up and Khabib wouldn't have gotten away with that against him but Conor doesn't have the tenacity and will-power of Al.

He might not have even gotten to the 3rd round like Al did.

Al wasn’t pushing anything. He landing one or two clean rights. Khabib was jabbing him effortlessly and rocked him with an uppercut in the 5th which Rogan completely ignored

impressive? he got outstruck like 120 to 20 or some shit, had zero takedowns, had zero ground strikes, was bloodied up. It was a nice try but not impressive.

Exactly. And Al is no fucking slouch either. Dude tooled up Kevin Lee and has never been dominated like that, especially on the feet. Al touches people and they go to sleep. Khabib ate the few shots he landed and just kept popping him with jabs. Apart from having his chin too high, Khabib's striking looked far better than it ever has and his cardio looked phenomenal..
 
No he wasn't. Like most fight fans, Joe gets caught up in the moment sometimes, especially when we had a potentially great underdog story here. Joe loves Khabib, he's always singing his praises and building him up to be an unstoppable God.

For the last 3 rounds al was the one moving forward. Also, really don't see how you guys don't get this. Al knows khabib is better on the ground, so why let him land some jabs and draw him into a standup fight. You did see that the first few jabs khabib threw, al puts his hands down and was smiling at khabib
 
Rogan for sure wanted an underdog narrative, probably unconsciously

I guess this should be common for commenters

In the sense that everyone he fights gets mauled and al not only survived but gave khabib a fight. Also looked like the fresher guy in the 5th.

Khabib got an intense workout not a fight. Al got mauled. Just not on the ground as much as everyone else.

Whenever somebody posts something like this, I just attribute it to confirmation bias and check later. Cause really maybe Rogan was just trying to be neutral but you took those little comments to be his pushing his agenda. Didn't get that impression at all.
