Has there ever been a more satisfying 1-2 finishes in the Main and Co-Main EVER??

Rogan agrees... No, there hasn't...

No.

Co-Main was uneventful until the very finish. Main is special only because of the hype around Conor.

It was very enjoyable, even though I was rooting for the losers.

UFC 139's main event and co main were better.
Shogun and Hendo's war, and Wand vs Cung Le was insane too

Dana said Conor/Nate was the biggest fight ever

Meisha vs Holly had two exciting rounds, the rest were boring. Epic ending, however.

Conor vs Nate was awesome from start to finish.

I can't disagree with Joe.

Just recently I would say 189 was better.

when chuck fought rampage in 07 it was HUGE.

when brock fought randy that was HUGE.

when brock fought carwin that was HUGE.

when gsp and bj fought in 09 that was HUGE.

When rockhold fought weidman that was HUGE.

When chael fought Anderson that was HUGE.

When Bones fought RAshad that was HUGE.

When Bones fought DC that was HUGE.

When JDS fought Cain the first time that was HUGE.

When Randy fought Sylvia that was HUGE.

When Lyoto fought Shogun that was HUGE.

I could go on there are tons of huge fights.

everything is always the "greatest ever" with this Rogan character. Get ready for anew set of "greatest ever" co-main and main events once 197 gets done. Joe is like a 13 year old with his excitement and exaggerations of events.

Came to say this. On a technical basis anyway. Robbie/Rory is my favorite fight ever in terms of an awesome back and forth. Conor/Diaz is my favorite fight ever just because it was so awesome to see Nate choke Conor out.

The fight card in Brazil where Big Nog KO'd Schaub was pretty damn nice. All finishes if I recall correctly, one of the best UFC's ever

So....
Which were better, if not these two?

BTW, full disclosure, I posted this thread based on my own thoughts ("most satisfying 1-2 main events ever"). But I added/edited it to a "Rogan says"-thread after I watched Rogan's Podcast Ep. So it's not just Rogan saying it.

Best TWO fights, Main and Co-Main?

Pretty much this, enjoyable to damn good card though I went For Holm and Nate so split for me on the mains.

UFC 79
GSP/Hughes
Liddell/Wanderlei

the main event was the best fight for me since 2005 ;)

Main was fun because of the build up and they both fairly went after it from the start. It lasted less than two rounds but it was pretty much all go, go, go.

Co-Main was good because of the ending, that for me doesn't make for a good fight. Robbie/Rory - now that... that stare off at the end of the fourth. Come on. Sadly followed by a quick KO.

If we had Robbie/Rory as co-main then McGregor/Diaz as main - now we're talking.
