Joe Rogan Reacts To the Ford Logo Mandela Effect

The scene makes no fucking sense without braces, that was the whole trigger for them??

And why would I have that perfect memory and someone mentioned it and go looking and yep, find a clip with braces.
well anything can be edited

But if you to back and look at all the old versions, no braces.

They never existed.

Hence why it's being talked about. The Mandela effect discussion is full of shit like this that people vividly remember.

I have an excellent memory as well so this stuff isnt something I can explain logically either. But I'm cool with that. I like this crazy universe lol

But have you actually looked into this subject in depth?

If not, how can you write something off so quickly without even attempting to truly understand it?

Not agreeing with something is understandable but writing something off as ridiculous as a sort of knee jerk reaction without actually putting in an effort is not a good mentality to have at all.

How you do one thing is how you do everything as the saying goes.

I have found some quirks in this shit before.
The ford emblem one has been around forever. I have an old as keychain I made from my log GT front emblem.
No squiggle. And I posted pictures of it up on a site years back. Need to go find it again.

and I had an old “faberware” spatula with the old spelling and a newer one with the new spelling. I posted side by side pics somewhere long as time ago too. Fuck it might have even been on here...

That's what Mandela hardcores call "residue"

If you look hard enough in many cases you can find examples of it being exactly as we remember.

But, that said, even if you go back to when it was first created, it was always the new way.

Trippy shit

Would be hilarious if you found it again and it had the squiggle.

That's the moment you know you're really in lol

I have looked at dozens of examples of "Mandela Effect" phenomena, and not one of them seems remotely plausible to me.

I guess I'm just from the prime universe.

I read Berenstain Bears as a kid. It was always Berenstain. Mandela did not die in prison.

There was one example of the JFK assassination video.

I had been studying it for a few months. Then seemingly overnight it changed. All of a sudden there were 6 people in the car, not 4.

Misremembering from when we were small children is one thing but this one in particular was quite crazy for me because it happened so close.

Perhaps it is a case of collective misremembering.

Whatever it is, is quite perplexing.
People tend to think of memory as being infallible. Maybe because it's linked with our sense of self. But memory is highly suggestible, to the point that someone merely telling you an alternate version of events can alter your memory.

We hate cognitive dissonance as well, and will usually except any answer that makes that feeling go away. Even if it isn't logical.

What a shit thread. Topped off by quoting a WatchMojo video
Doesn't matter who created the video.

The examples remain the same regardless of who it's by.

I could post another top 20 from a different channel. It makes no difference.

Lol that's fair I guess

The lengths we go to sometimes to explain things away completely.

Not even acknowledging the mere possibility that fantastic things are possible in this universe.

The reality is nobody really knows. No matter how much we try to put something in a box that can be logically defined.

Well I'm VERY interested in mystery. To the point I was a hippie/CTer/general moron when I was younger. I even posted at length about my psychic and paranormal experiences. Problem is, I'm so cynical.

When something seems fantastic or supernatural, the first thing I do is research for logical causes. Which are usually depressingly easy to find. That doesn't mean there isn't any mystery imo, just that we're usually looking in the wrong places for it.

To me, stuff like the mandela effect shows how hungry people are for SOMETHING interesting. Anything to escape the mundane.

Thats not the original scene. Thats someone who redid it because of mandela effect

Yeah I know that, my comment is the scene only makes sense with the braces, probably why people remember/think they were there.

For anyone else who wants to go balls deep into all the other shit that has seemingly changed. It gets weird

The one that bothers me the most is the James Bond: Moonraker Mandella. I have a vivid, a very vivid memory of Dolly having braces and the entire thing that made it funny was that she and Jaws were attracted to each other because they both had a metal mouth. I don't believe in the Mandella Effect but this one fucks with me worse than any of the others.

The girl with jaws did have braces. This is the first I’ve heard of this? People saying she didn’t?

As I posted above, that one fucks me about once a month. My memory of Dolly having braces is as real as any other memory I have about my life, its that vivid.

Im not in to the CERN explanation, for me the problem is the logical explanation they give is BS, the whole peple are confusing Shaq with Sinbad is BS, thats like saying Chuck Norris played the Terminator. Maybe there was another film with a not so well known actor that premiered before Shaq even was a star, that actually looked more like Sinbad, I could buy that. But until such a film appears it will be a mystery.

This was past my generation so I dont remember

But according to a quick google search, she never had braces.

Thing is, the scene makes no sense without the braces. Jaws was a monster and when the two of them look at each other and fall in love its because Dolly smiles and has a metal mouth too and Jaws feels someone finally understands him. I have no way of explaining why I and many, many other people have that memory.

There were indeed 6 people in the car and it had 3 rows of seats. What's hard to figure out is how in a museum it looks like this.
