It may not seem like it to some, but Rogan doesn't treat Stipe with proper respect. If this were Cain, he'd be waving pom poms. He is the UFCs mouthpiece.

We see plenty of fighters who never progress past a certain level regardless of how long they keep trying.

The real test for Ngannou is whether he's prepared knuckle down and plug the holes in his game, which will require some motivation beyond the pleasure of people blowing smoke up his ass 24/7.

We've not yet seen anything that points to him having that higher level of mental fortitude than real champions possess. Until I see that I won't be expecting anything exceptional from his career.
