Joe Rogan on Conor-Nate 2 [VIDEO]

I bet money on Diaz the first fight, I´m not the second fight. Connor did really well the first round, I think he can adjust and do even better second time around. Think the second fight will be closer.

Conor had a fluke win over aldo and ran with it. The hype machine was as ridiculous as the rousey one.

Please feed him to frankie.

It was no fluke win. It was a beautiful counter. Fucking picture perfect. He beats Aldo 9/10.
Fluke win ? GTFO.
Comparing Conor to RR ?
Youre embarrassing yourself and insulting anyone with the least bit of MMA knowledge.
I actually feel less intelligent just having read your post.

I think he may make adjustments and fight differently, but I also factor in that Diaz literally had ZERO training camp in the first contest. So I think that will also equalize things in the rematch.

Can't see Conor winning the rematch either, but I think he massively underestimated Nate and bought into his own hype. I think not 100% committing to going for an early KO will help his chances but full camp Nate will be even more beneficial than Conor coming in with an altered approach. I just hope this fight takes place at 155 NO FUCKING EXCUSES.

ALL my casual friends say Conor lost because he gained a lot of weight really fast and moved up two weight classes, then I try and explain weight cutting to them and they nod their heads but it goes in one ear and out the other.

flukes don't exist, everything happens for a reason and conor set up that counter and got it

Conor had better starve himself to fight @ 145 again, or drop his belt to start over again as a LW.
Not against Nate, but further down the ladder. Fighting Nate now is just a waste of time. I don't get it.

Aldo gassed.

I can't watch it right now, but how many times is the term "legit, high level black belt" used?

Conor had a lucky/easy way to the title, the Aldo KO was great, one of the best wins in MMA. But it didn't really "prove" anything.

Judging by the Nate fight, I see Conor struggling to stay in the top 10 at LW. Nate is a legit top 5-10 LW. And Conor had nothing in that fight. He won the first round but just because he went 100%. If he doesn't come out 100% in the rematch he also loses the first round.

You said it wasn't a fluke win then proceeded with the embarrassingly stupid "he beats him 9/10 times" line.

I didn't find that insightful, seemed obvious to me. Joe is just telling it like it is.

Styles make fights. Just like Nate is a bad match up for Conor , Conor is a bad match up for Aldo. Just the facts. No fan boy delsion

I predicted, as most people, that RR would beat Holm and Conor would beat Diaz. However, I dont know what it is but there was this weird air before both of those fights where the closer the fight got, I had this feeling like something strange was going to happen. I saw other people say the same. Fighting is so weird, a fight will take place and we leave saying "fighter A just has fighter B's number and wins 10/10". Then, they fight again and we leave saying "fighter B beats fighter A 10/10. First fight was a fluke". Im not saying that is the case but Conor treated Diaz w/ 0 respect, fought him like he fought Siver, rushed, impatient, chin out, hands down, like there was 0 chance Diaz could hurt him and thought the gas that he always had would be there at 170 (168).

This narrative that Diaz absolutely demolished Conor is one that is built by those that were wanting Conor to lose. Realistically, it was an action packed exciting fight and one in which Conor had the upper hand until he ended up on queer street. Who knows what Conor's game plan will be or if Diaz just simply has his number but me thinks this second fight has a good chance of shocking alot of people that think Conor has no chance, 0 ground game, is a coward and only is champ because he got lucky. The guy has already proven himself 100 times over, you simply don't get to this level with luck and that assessment is more disrespectful to Conor's foes than Conor himself.
