He had a brown belt. Back then that meant Ufc fighters feared you without even knowing anything else about you.

He also had a striking background. In taekwondo.

He could have been a force in the ufc. Why didn’t he compete?
 
Because he was a little skinny comedian. Ken Shamrock would have used him as dental floss.

I think he said he quit doing competitive TKD bc he started having bad migraines from getting hit so much. So that could be a reason he never came to the UFC then. There are videos on IG and youtube of him kicking bags, one where he even showed GSP how to do one of his kicks. He's pretty good honestly.

I'd like to have seen his boy Eddie Bravo in the UFC... he trained karate/jeet kune do, and obviously has nasty BJJ (3rd degree BB) He'd be trying to put the twister on everyone lol

Joe has stated several times that he was concussed too many times during TKD competitions and sparing so he stopped. This was a long time ago, probably before he was commenting on the UFC.
 
Agreed with OP. They should've let Rogan fight Gerard Gordeau. It would have ended up well for him.
