For the interviewer to imply that Chomsky was just "spouting off" about politics because he was a linguistic professor is beyond stupid.

You know this because you read his book or you can somewhat deduct that from the interview?
I don't see why it matters what think tank the interview was done by, it could have been a left wing think tank, why would that matter?
