I thought Brock's base was awesome and much improved from the last time he fought. His top control was calculating and he had super heavy pressure. I don't see many heavyweights getting back up once hes gets them down.

He had better control against a better grappler than Hunt in Heath Herring.

Still solid performance by Brock.

Hunt could've done more and he pretty much owned that. Pretty bad showing. That Round 2 was oomph. Good job by Brock, but...

...objectively, Hunt was always the biggest name that's the most tailor made to getting blanketed by Brock. He's sized just right (huge but squat, easy to spam TDs against and lay on) and has a woeful ground game.

Throw in a rangier guy with a ground game (Cain, Reem) and decent standup and Brock wilts 9 times out 10 IMO.

But that's the benefit (one of them anyway) of only fighting every few years. Brock don't gotta stick around to have his game exposed in a way that people will remember and/or stop paying to see.

Anyone that can wrestle really well would be a bad match up for brock assuming they just have half decent hands and cardio.

Brock is the white Demian Maia.
Maia is like the Shakespeare of MMA BJJ. In that comparison, Lesnar is like a runaway sauced up Sasquatch who accidentally found fight shorts.

Also, Maia is pretty light skinned and Lesnar is more or less the color of a cooked lobster. Brazil has way more racial categories than America does, or some shit.

Wait until he unveils his rubber guard. Hes gonna make brad imes gogo streak look like amateur hour.

I know he's not going to fight soon but his top game looks better. Also he took a punch and didn't go running and covering up like he did in the past. All in all jiu-jitsu Brock is a much improved fighter. Hope he fights again.

I was surprised how easy Hunt got up from Lesnar. I figured once Lesnar got Hunt down it'd be over.

This makes me think Cain or Stipe would be able to also get up. I know Cain got up from Lesnar but that was mostly Lesnar's fault for attempting to gain positron before having Cain under control.

Lesnar could have finished Hunt in the first like Hughes did to Gracie but I think he chose to not make the mistake Carwin did and blow his wad in the first.
