I'm not hearing anyone really talk about Jiri's lack of activity as of late and how it might effect him on Saturday. Normally I would pick Jiri to beat a guy like Alex, but the potential for ring rust will be serious for Jiri. He is coming off of serious surgery, a 16 month layoff, and has only fought once in the last 2 and a half years. On the other hand, in the same 2 and a half year period, Pereira has fought 6 times, 4 of which were against former or current champions. AP will be ready and sharp, Jiri on the other hand is a big question mark in my eyes.

That's been surprisingly under discussed imo

There is a ton of ring rust at play here, not to mention we haven't seen Jiri since the injury.

If there is any recent footage of him hard sparring or wrestling you will be able to see if he is rusty.

Said it when he got surgery. Shoulders are never the same. He's very likely to reinjure it again. It won't take as much stress as before.

Did usada finally stop testing him 100 times a day or whatever it was?

He’s been active AF in the woods bruh.
Yeah he fucks up trees on the reg
