Jimmy Savile

don't click on that thread.

Why not? It's a link to the mini-documentary/television episode of Louis Theroux's "When Louis Met...". In this case When Louis Met Jimmy.

Here is the IMDB page: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0304938/

Here is another link to the video: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1ziq8u_wlm-s01e01-jimmy-savile_news

This was filmed during a week of Jimmy's life and aired in April of 2000. It is obvious that Louis (a smart and cunning journalist) recognizes something peculiar about Jimmy, and rightfully doesn't trust him. He pry's in clever ways to get actual answers from Jimmy and calls him on a lot of his gibberish.

The bigger story spinning off the back of that are his connections to peado politicians, in a wider conspiracy

There hasn't been a massive amount of press about it. Some people will say that's a cover up, though i suspect it's more that journalists and news agencies are terrified of libel cases and losing their careers if they say the wrong thing
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...at-sex-abuse-party-victim-claims-9864608.html

A victim of the alleged Westminster :eek::eek::eek::eek:phile ring that operated nearly three decades ago has claimed he saw a Conservative MP strangle a young boy to death at an “abuse party”.

The victim, who has been named “Nick,” has detailed the murder of the 12-year-old boy to police, The Sunday People and Exaro investigations agency, and alleged that two other boys were also killed by the abusers.

Growing up I always thought Saville was rubbish. I was a Noel Edmonds guy. Probably saved me from being molested

You wait until the dirt comes out on Mr Blobby

Looking into Jimmy Savile is like looking down the rabbit hole, how far down do you want to look? He had friends in powerful places who looked the other way. How high up one will never be able to say in certainty.

The corporation also admits it had gathered evidence nearly a year ago that Savile abused young girls at the BBC, but did nothing about it.

The now infamous Newsnight film was made over a six-week period after Savile’s death in October 2011. But it never saw the light of day after the BBC2 programme’s editor, Peter Rippon, pictured right, scrapped it last December.

Mick Starkey, described by the TV star as his “bodyguard”, is being *investigated by the police watchdog over claims he contacted Surrey detectives as they looked into allegations against the pervert.

The 61-year-old former West Yorkshire officer was a regular at the Friday Morning Club, a men-only meeting with friends including police at Savile’s flat in Roundhay, Leeds.

breathe easy,he's a descent bloke, runs a candle shop with his wife, and never really hit the heights of celeb fame that the likes of Savile and Rolf had....plus he only had one free hand.:icon_lol:

Well thank fuck for that. I couldn't take any more fallen childhood idols. I shall sleep easy tonight.

Saville was an evil man. The scary thing was that he was good friends with members of the British Royal Family and it's believed that he was protected by them. It's scary to think what other celebs you see on tv everyday could lead some sort of awful private life.

Every day when I read the paper or go on the BBC website I read some horrible shit about similar circumstances.

Chemical castration should be enforced on all risky sex offenders

Who the hell is Saville?

I'm from the UK and didn't hear till all these cases came out and when I Googled him he just had a :eek::eek::eek: look

Surprised it took so long for people to find out

What is the infamous Newsnight film..?

It was basically an investigative piece documenting the allegations surrounding Savile and the circumstances discussed in here. From recollection, it was shelved and replaced with some sort of positive retrospective for Savile. A sister program of the BBC investigated why the film was shelved and it was basically a case of "this goes too far up the chain." People in power would be woven into the story based on their relationships with Savile (The Royal Family, politicians, police, etc.)
