You're splitting hairs. Their statement (Disney) is that they are trying to "turn down the heat" so to speak and Kimmel was fanning the flames.

If you can't see why Disney would agree to disassociate with the guy, we have no more to talk about.
Considering it's Disney, I'm actually surprised they didn't double down. It appears even they can see how America at large is feeling in the wake of Kirk's murder and understand that demonizing enemies the way Kimmel has been doing is the worst thing for it right now.

You are fiiiired!!!!! 🔥

Oh I care about this. I just don't care about you or what you have to say about this. You celebrated and justified any and every time someone on the other side of the aisle from you got "cancelled" for years. You especially. I'm telling you now, you should get used to your complaints falling on deaf ears.

Do you think there's a difference between a show getting "cancelled" because a huge group of people boycotted it, and a show getting "cancelled" because the federal government leaned on a media company?

Cancelling people from public outrage is perfectly fine, but it's not fine when it's done over an FCC threat.

Nothing he said wasn't protected speech, you know this, you're just a liar.
Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences. Isn't that what you guys loved to say anytime there was an outcry that another person was unjustly cancelled?

Point to me at a time where a liberal administration cancelled a conservative Late Night Show or anything of the sort because they didn't like what they said about them. You can't. You're a joke

But you're supposed to be defending against the bad leftists trying to take your shit away.

Not indulging in the same practice of inevitable, constant subtraction.

You see the issue, right?
What did you think of when Disney shitcanned Gina Carano for comparing herself to a jew? More or less inflammatory than what Kimmel did?

I've pretty much always agreed that people need to be decent or expect the consequences. One who goes out of their way to offend people mourning is a malignant cunt and we should all agree we don't need that.

That was an employer choosing the terminate their relationship with their contracted employee on their own. It didn't come as the result of a threat from the FCC.

So? Were they wrong or not? And was what Carano did more or less offensive than what Kimmel did?
