That's what half the people on this forum try to be. They see themselves in Jimmy Kimmel. That was particularly venomous of Kimmel. How can anyone have sympathy for him?

Kimmel has a lot of influence with the left and he could have used his show as a way to call out the radicals who were openly celebrating Kirk's murder. He could have helped heal the political division in America. Instead he chose to intentionally lie about the motives of Kirk's assassin as a way to fan the flames in a country where the temperature is already high.
Not surprised you didnt adress the government shitting on free speech. No, I'm not upset about a guy that uses his platform to offend half the country lost his job, no. I'm skeptical you've lost any sleep over similar things in the past.
You are going to be seeing a lot of these clips coming back out, and not just abut Kimmel. The left may have memory holed the years and years they unapologetically pushed Cancel Culture on the world, but everyone else has not. To see this incredible shift where people on the left are finally being held accountable and are now crying "cancel culture" is text book "full circle."

I've addressed it over and over. Jimmy Kimmel is a free man. His life goes on. He won't be fined by any government entity, he won't be imprisoned. Not surprised you didnt adress the government shitting on free speech.
Nobody gives a shit about Kimmel. There is a larger issue at hand here.

Private company can do what it wants. Not surprised you didnt adress the government shitting on free speech.
Two completely independent companies pulled Kimmel's show from all their affiliate stations before ABC Productions suspended the show. I don't think it has as much to do with "muh trump and FCC" as you think. Not surprised you didnt adress the government shitting on free speech.

I agree. But thats not what happened here now is it you sad cucknadian Maga larperPrivate company can do what it wants.
Freedom of speech, not freedom from consequences.
Sound familiar?
Yeah sure. Keep telling yourself that. Two completely independent companies pulled Kimmel's show from all their affiliate stations before ABC Productions suspended the show. I don't think it has as much to do with "muh trump and FCC" as you think.
So from what I understand is the problem wasn't about the joke with Trump not caring.. it was about him making a claim early on that a right winger did it? Maybe my info is off, but that is what I saw.
I can at least understand that versus the joke itself.. it wasn't about the joke, it was about the info leading to it.. is that right?
You sound like someone who would have a very unbiased view on this topic....I agree. But thats not what happened here now is it you sad cucknadian Maga larper
The guy went on air, over publicly funded and regulated air waves, well after the details about the shooter were known, to gaslight his NPC audience and lie. He proclaimed in a factual statement that the shooter was "one of their own" maga crowd. This outraged many people for a whole host of reasons. His show got suspended. cope and seethe
He wasn't cancelled, just suspended it seems. His show may never come back or it could return at any time.
Assuming he's gone for good though, then I'm totally fine with an unfunny hack being shitcanned for being an unfunny hack. He was probably costing the network millions just like Colbert and they're using this opportune moment as cover to do what they've been wanting to do.
