Social Jesse Jackson has died

Dang. RIP. I’m sure trump will make another passing of someone all about him of course.

Jesse called out Trump on race... often. But, it wasn't what the Left Cult claims it to be.

Since you wanted it to be a Trump thread.... there you go.

Rest on Power.

With hindsight it is hard to argue against the premise that America would be in a better place today if he had been elected President.

RIP sir

His heart was in the right place. The human grift likely got the better of him from time to time, as it does most people at those levels of society. All in all, a legend in his own right who did tremendous things for black people, and people in general.

Well put. It's shameful the way some people behave after important people die....

The MLK blood was a disgusting thing to do, but RIP.
it was, overall he was ok.

I've heard different things about that but both seem to have him using the blood for his own purposes. Unfortunately, seems like when it comes to power and leadership, people do all kinds of shit. Fidel Castro sent his good buddy on missions that would get him killed so he'd not have to compete with him. Alls fair in love and war (or leadership I guess).

The blood story has a couple different versions, one was that he was just hysterical in the situation and rubbing the blood on himself in a crazed state. Others think he did it to make it look like he was closest to King and thus his heir apparent.

Either way, he did some good in the world too.

He had the ability to do so much but he got blinded by the money and lost sight of helping others.
That's a common story with folks who get a bit of power.

One thing about Malcolm X was he was at least aware of the pitfalls, he fell for them many times but he learned and changed in many cases and he also had some integrity but no one is perfect. Malcolm refused to yield to a need for money or being manipulated by material things, that was a great thing, he was also aware of how many men are corrupted by none other than their wives who want all the nice shit. Look at Noam Chomsky and the fallout about his association with Epstein. Old man, younger wife who pushed for getting free jet rides and nice shit and it's ruined him, common.

He did a lot of good for the black community while lining his pockets/raising his profile. It's the American dream.

I respect the hustle, RIP legend!

RIP Jesse Louis Burns.

His Mama named him Cassius. Imma call him Cassius.

When I was a kid, I distinctly remember him going to Syria and gaining the release of a U.S. Navy pilot who had been downed there.

R.I.P. to a civil rights champion.

RIP. What a life. The guy was a force. Sounds like the last few years were pretty rough.
