I found this YouTube comment from someone who claims to work in the entertainment industry, and formerly worked in TV, interesting:

I'm in the entertainment industry. This is 80 percent of what the kids go through. Evil parents who live through their dreams through their kids, live off them, don't care how they are mentally and emotionally, and you have perverts and control freaks watching and directing the children and behind the scenes it's either pressure emotional or sexual abuse. I got out of TV when I saw this and tried to stand up for the kids but the environment was shockingly encouraged to be this cold. I was told by a director "I'm such an angel" in a sarcastic tone when I protected and defended a child. Sorry this industry and most parents who go into this are insane and the kids are these cute talented gifts who don't know they are being thrown to the wolves for money and to create a false identity. No wonder they have drug addictions and eating disorders. I feel like even her co star is part of the gas lighting like Janet was being fake making people laugh and it's her problem for it being tough for her. What a liar, the whole environment is evil and she knows it she is just protecting her future roles with the studio.

Take it with a grain of salt, I guess, but it certainly seems like it could be true.

I never really watched a lot of his work, mainly some gifs and YouTube videos highlighting his bad behavior, but I have to admit, in this clip below, that's damn good writing for a kid's show. He clearly had a lot of talent and drive to create all those shows and run them like that.

I noticed that as well. Looks more like anorexia than bulimia. She said that she wanted to be anorexic but didn't have the discipline without her mom controlling her food, so she was bulimic instead. Looks like she finally found the discipline.

I also noticed that in other interviews she did around the same time, she looks about 10 years younger than she does in that interview. Not sure what's up with that. She also doesn't look nearly so skinny. I guess she filmed those interviews before the recent weight loss, while the Good Morning America interview was just the other day. I was speculating that maybe there was a better makeup artist at the other interviews, but I don't know...
