JDS vs Gus cardio

So JDS is heavier and more muscular AND YET still managed to have pop in his punches in the fifth round, was lighter on his feet, and traveled as far or farther than Gus did vs DC and Jones. Obviously the new camp is doing wonders for him and if that man shows up against Werdum or Velasquez they are toast.

To be fair Gus was in a war with those 2 guys...Jds did not get touched to often in this fight. Really just a kickboxing match..hardly any grappling.

JDS looked great, but you can't compare this fight with any of Gus' title fights.

Not getting punched helps an awful lot.

Also the work on Ben's body was superb. JDS looked faster as Ben got slower.

Gus is a better fighter.

Pretty sure he would look terrible against Cormier and Jones. Gus almost won.
