JDS tested positive for hydrochlorothiazide.

That's my point you mouth breather, they just don't put you on a diuretic by itself if you got high blood pressure. And JDS said he isn't taking any meds regardless so high blood pressure isn't the issue here

Who knows what's real, a lot of people don't divulge their medical history. Unless you're his HCP and know his medical history, you're just speculating.

He's a young whipper snapper and a pro athlete. I'd say he more than likely doesn't require it for a legit purpose.

30 years old with years of weight cutting and past history of rahbdo, who knows for sure.

Not to say you couldn't be right, but let's wait until we hear everything before the torches and pitchforks come out

The rhabdo could be a legit reason but at this point you would think he'd have some kind of exemption to the drug considering he would have a legit need for it if that was the case. Doubt he has heart failure too, it's sketchy to me.

Another ignorant moron on sherdog. Diuretics are frequently given with antihypertensivw meds
... which are frequently given to chf patients, or which can occur alongside chf. I was on BBs and ace inhibitors for chf, I'd get similar meds for hypertension. Along with a diuretic due to my chf. My ace inhibitor got swapped out for entresto recently though.

Not saying you're wrong at all. (I'm exhausted and on dilaudid for my hip. If I'm not making sense pm me and I'll mea culpa in the morning)

Yes I won't argue there. I'm just more cautious about condemning anyone before I hear all the facts.

I suppose. It's better going back in forth with peeps that know what they're talking about as opposed to mouth breathers who hit google and speak the gospel xD

I'm on lisinpril and hydrochlorithiazde myself, going to get another checkup. I think i can get off the meds, I cut the salt in my diet and cutdown the booze (can't give up coffee though).

Yes, giving up the coffee would be hard. Carvedilol, entresto and spironolactone for me. At least a 24 of beer lasts me a month now.

Only because of nursing school and getting up so goddamn early and long study sessions, once I graduate I'll wean myself off.

They usually don't put you primarily on diuretics when you have hypertension. Youre usually on actual BP medication like lisinopril, amlodipine, etc...

They add a diuretic to your meds if you got CHF, Edema in addition to hypertension

JDS is a young healthy male, and he's not trying to cut weight. Most likely he was using it as a making agent and got caught. If he does have a medical condition and taking medication he would have to disclose it earlier anyways, and he said he wasn't taking anything...
I was joking, but sometimes they do give younger guys go mess and this diuretic. I had it. I don't actually believe Dos Santos is likely to have high bp- it probably would've become an issue long ago I would imagine.

I'm almost there, taking Critical Care next month

Doubtful he looks ripped all year around.
I'm taking the critical care course also next month and start ICU training to float in their units. Pretty stoked

I have a kid, so I need to be able to function when he up.

Just got done with pediatrics and OB this summer. Any asshole can have procreate, takes a real man and woman to take care and raise a kid to become a functioning adult in society.

Yea, I have a lot of family/friends in nursing. I couldn't do pediatrics. Rewarding, but I don't want some of those stories. Good luck with school and the career though.

>junior caught wih a masking agent
"maybe he needs it, there's no evidence he actually used steroids"

>jones caught with a masking agent
"all of his wins don't matter and need an asterisk because he's a steroid cheat blah blah"

<JonesDXSuckIt>

They're all on steroids
