He still looks good and is the first guy who was able to defend Blaydes TD for that long.
He's legit top 5, but Blaydes and Ngannou are monsters, and Stipe still beats him. Actually, I think he could give DC a hard time.

Age = less testosterone, less aggressiveness. Even his face changes. Back then he had this perpetual angry driven look on him, now he's a nice guy smiling all the time. USADA had something to do with it too

Or if the second and third fights with Cain had been stopped earlier. Realistically speaking, there was no reason for him to go into the championship rounds in those fights.
In boxing, corners will throw in the towel during performances like that.

It 's weird though. He had Derricks number easily.
If he's accepting of his status as HW gatekeeper, he can fight for a few years yet.
But he is not a title contender anymore. He's basically going to have to be a litmus test for whether guys like Augusto Sakai, Sergei Pavlovixh and Sergei Spivak are worthy of climbing up the ranks past him.
