I would say that fight is what changed Werdum into the fighter he became and became HW GOAT. Their big wins are on par with eachother but Werdum has slightly more. I wish they fought eachother in the early 2010s.

I suppose someone could argue his body of work is extensive enough that it overrides that factor, however.

Prime JDS is the toughest matchup for prime Werdum, sure. Pickem fight, but I give the slight edge to Werdum due to kicks and his brilliant clinch, both weaknesses of JDS.
