JDS damaged Cain's brain too

As I have said before Cain will never be the same again. Those 3 fights were toughest test for each man. JDS is just tougher, durable guy than Cain. It seems Cain's career is in downhill. JDS will stay on top for many years.

Remember 3 grueling fights with JDS damaged Cain's body.

Ignoring the whole Cain vs. JDS thing....

I work with traumatic brain injury researchers. It's pretty likely that any sort of blows to the head results in some level of brain damage.

Prolonged beatings are the ones that kill you as your brain is constantly being rattled, but the KO punch JDS landed for sure killed a few hundred brain cells.

Getting put unconscious isn't worse than taking a beating for almost 50 minutes of your life though, and I say this as a huge JDS fan.

I will say that winning by knockout is more impressive than what Cain did in the 2 fights he won, he really should have finished JDS in the first fight, and in the 4th fight he should have finished him after the first knock down.
