Rothwell plods forward and doesn't use a lot of movement. He was tailor made to get punched up by JDS. As long as Overeem, Cain, and Stipe are around I don't think JDS can win.

Overeem will always been a stylistic nightmare for JDS. Overeem will always turn JDS into a one punch shell of himself.

Cain. Do we have to explain why Cain takes another 5 years off his life?

Stipe has really good wrestling and underappreciated boxing. I think Stipe can put on a pressure in your face fight and can win a rematch against JDS.

Fair point. But that seems like one of those things you could actually fix through training. Unlike things like cardio, reflexes etc. In a lot of areas JDS looked really sharp he just needs to work on his game a bit more.

If arlovski wins he should fight him for a title shot. If not he is a fill in or if Browne does well but loses to cain and he is one away. Otherwise he likely has to rematch hunt and overeem.

If he wins a couple, I don't see why not. But he needs to be more active, in the last few years he's had a few injuries. If he wins twice more this year and Miocic becomes champion, it could happen.
But there's a possibility that Cain comes back with a vengeance and gets some momentum, the UFC might give him a TS first. Then if he wins it's a hard sell to have JDS-Velasquez 4. But that's a load of IFs.
