Media Jared Vanderaa shares a photo with his "hero" backstage at UFC 271

No way should that have been a split decision. Arlovski is quietly putting a win streak together, it'll be interesting if he gets a step up in competition.

I see arlovski fight, I was forward it. Todays Andrei is just there to collect paycheques and you can be sure he'll always bring that sparring fight come fight night. Past couple of years I find his fights boring and irritating, neverless a nice moment that a guy could've fought his hero.

Close fight. I keep wondering why AA keeps fighting prelims and Fight Nights when he's making more than the rest of the prelim card combined.

Because he's the Gate Keeper of Heavy Weight outside of the top 10. If you can beat him you're ready to crack top 10. It's like how Lewis is the Gate Keeper within the top 10. If you cam beat Lewis you're ready for the top 5 and possibly title contention.

They would both be contenders in Bellator.

I still enjoy watching him fight. He may never crack the top 5 again but I think his longevity itself is impressive.

He is the top 15 gatekeeper. That's his job now and he is doing it great. And also paid shitload of money for it.

Chris Leben, too. I have seen a few fighters rock that polish. I always wondered if it's a medical thing or just for (literally) cosmetics? Can anybody elaborate on this topic?
I paint my nails with clear coat when I'm training to keep them from breaking. Kicking people isn't good for your toenails and wearing gloves and grappling is super rough on the fingernails
