Jared got a good fight iq. Guess all that experience helps with the fight iq too. Jared is still a top 10 mw and arguably should be close to another title shot soon. I would like to see him and fluffy in a fight. That would interesting.
I think he should fight another up and comer, it's good to have some high quality gate keepers. A bit like a striking version of Brunson, who also derailed some hype trains.

Very impressed that he is still performing this well even as a 40 year old, but I doubt he has another title run left in him considering that he lost to Imavov and Caio, and his previous losses to Rob and Izzy.

Picked robo … but bet the under and won

He’s too slow! - not sure where he goes from here

Paul Felder seemed upset with the stoppage

I went for Cannonier in the 4th on tapology. Had a feeling this fight would look like that. I like Robocop but I don't think he's durable enough to beat the top guys.

It makes me remember of the elbow of Miocic vs Cormier 1

Jared still not done after his last fights. He still has it. Very underrated fighter at age 40.

This wasn't the first time Hobocop got his chin dusted. I had a feeling this would happen if the fight went longer than 1 round.

It's not Robocop's chin; it's his stamina.

Robocop = Yet Another muscle-bound freak, highly-dangerous at first, whose oversized muscles then quickly fill with blood, become depleted of oxygen, and then slows down to the point they are a sitting duck for anyone who can last the first couple of rounds.

Robocop literally looked like he was "stuck in molasses" he got so slow, midway in Round 2.

Hats off to Jared Cannonier for weathering the storm, and becoming "The Eye" of the storm.

I love watching Rodrigues fight, but goddamn he's one slippery fighter. Finds himself in tough spots in most fights, usually manages to turn the tides in those moments, but obviously the ratio of times where he'll be able to successfully do that when fighting upper tier fighters might not be the same as when he fights those mid-tier middleweights.

Still glad for Cannonier. I thought he was shot at this point (my bad!), but he's still a very capable opponent and a worthy gatekeeper for anyone trying to make it into that top 15 or top 10.

That was a nice power shot to the bread-basket to fold him over

Clean ass body kill-shot while slapping the head around

He more than likely will get the winner of Fluffy vs Allen.
And after just watching the fluffy fight I think Jared has a good chance to win that fight. Definitely a better striker than fluffy, question is can he figure out how to make it a straight stand up fight and consistently defend the td while making fluffy pay for trying.

Yeah I was just thinking myself that the fight is very much winnable for Jared as long as he can keep it standing.
