James Toney vs Roy Jones

Don't know what you watched T.S. because I loved this fight. Both supremely confident skilled fighters, but one was just better. The fact that you think it was a horrible fight is honestly a testament to how great Roy was was in his prime. He could make great fighters look average or even bad at times. He neutralized Toney with foot and hand speed, and combination punching. Toney has a great poker face but he must have thought WTF most times after Roy would let his hands go.
I probably exaggerated but i stand by the fact that this is the best head to head matchup of my lifetime, which is not exactly saying that much but it was a significant moment that could have and should have made them both global superstars.

Unfortunately we see both of them much differently than the average casual boxing fan, the average casual fan should have seen what we see...but for reasons listed throughout the thread, it just didn't happen

But no you're right, RJJ was just god level
