As silly as it is using Clark Kent to hide Superman in plain site, would you have them do away with that aspect of the comic? It's 2025, and people still think he would be able to fool anyone with that getup...

Would you just get rid of the Clark Kent persona entirely or give Superman a new power where he can morph his looks and thus not be recognizable?
I chose to suspend belief on that aspect (as we are asked to do in many elements) and just accept they cannot recognize him as i prefer they keep that element from the comics.
- He has the robots on the comics. THe only thing i would change are several side heroes making cameos. But want to see Bilbo and the reporteres of the Daily Planet.I laughed through the entire video.
“Ya let’s put a CGI dog with a cape in the movie! Let’s also put quirky robots that cut into the seriousness of Superman getting his ass kicked!”
I didn’t have high hopes to begin with, and if this is the clip they release to try to generate the interest, hollllyyy shit this movie might be terrible.
The tone of James Gunn movies was great for a fringe property like Gaurdians of the Galaxy, but does not belong in Superman. Unsurprisingly, his talentless brother also has a role in the film.
- He has them on comics.I don't get the robots. Reminds of the Kevin Smith story where Jon Peter's wanted Superman to have guards
I'd guess thats a big issue in terms of expectations, live action superman has never really tended towards that kind of thing, its sometimes been over the top/camp but the serious space jesus story has always tended to dominate and this kind of material hasnt been shown.- He has the robots on the comics. - I loved Chris Reeves representation, was my first exposing to the character. I just wanted they to show him as a tougher guy.I'd guess thats a big issue in terms of expectations, live action superman has never really tended towards that kind of thing, its sometimes been over the top/camp but the serious space jesus story has always tended to dominate and this kind of material hasnt been shown.

Brendan Routh was good, but his Super-Man got beat by regular thugs, so did Chris in Super-Man 3. He is the guy that faced the likes of Mongul, even if he isnt a technical fighter, he is a tough brawler. Hope that movie shows that. BvS showed a little of that.
Krypto dying and then Superman going on a John Wick like killing spree would be kinda cool to be honest.Krypto is gonna die confirmed.
- He was pretty good as Super-Man. The movie was just bad.Brandon Routh wasn't bad. He was just a little dry in my opinion. That movie was awful though. They should have went with Brendan Fraser. You really need someone audiences love / will love as Superman. He needs to have the warmest, friendliest presence.
Kal penn stole the movie.- He was pretty good as Super-Man. The movie was just bad.
Super-Man, the farmer getting beat by some thugs was pathetic. That girl tha played Lex girlfriend was great also.
- Reeves was a great actor. And even after all those years, we think of him as Super-Man. Cavill was good. But Warner ruined the character, even thought i think MOS far surpass the trash Disney puts out under Marvel banner. They've failed to replicate the success of Christopher reeve each and every time... yet here we are
