I thought you were joking then I finished reading your response. Outboxed Nate? Conor landed some good hard straight lefts and a few really good uppercuts, but let's not pretend that it was one sided until Nate got "lucky" lol. Nate slapped Conor liked 15 times, and had he punched instead of slapping he could have hurt Conor a lot more, but opted instead to hurt Conor's feelings lol.
Nate proved who was the better boxer by actually outboxing Conor and turning him into some panicked wrestler. Conor only gassed because of the ass whooping he was receiving. Conor was in good shape and even his coach was surprised at how "gassed" he was at the end of rd one. So by your logic the better boxer didn't even make it to the end of round 2 in a MMA fight that was mainly boxing. Ok.
