I think we should unplug the internet and send technology back to about the 80's, fuck it walkman and VCR wasn't so bad, my life was peaceful and I didn't know about every asshole's opinion from every corner of the world.

You can do this all on your own this rest of us don't have to join you. I personally love this sort of stuff. A good reminder of how great my life is whenever I'm feeling a little down or a small issue comes up in my life.

How can anyone utter the words "do your research" and expect to be taken seriously?

That phrase literally translates to "I'm not eloquent enough to verbalize my very strong opinion" or "trust me bro".

What these gompers forget is they probably didn't "research" anything, they just got algorithmed. They think "research" is sitting on your couch watching YouTube autoplay a bunch of shit at them and then digging out opinion pieces and SubStacks aimed purely at confirmation bias clicks.

I follow Jake on X.

He is entertaining and says a lot of good stuff, which I agree with.

Also a lot of stuff I disagree with. Like all his anti Jew Nazi stuff. He is a little Hitler lover now.
