News Jake Paul vs Julio Cesar Chavez JR - June 28th DAZN PPV

Can't imagine why, after his fake AF exhibition with, Not Against, Tyson, anyone would watch Jake in anything but a sanctioned bout against a current pro in his weight class.

Tommy Fury 2 would be legit. Weak, but at least it would be a real bout.

What a hilariously bad day to pick to have a ppv
ps, why ?

It's too bad Canelo didn't destroy this despicable clown. Chavez Jr. is washed up. It should be another easy win for Paul and that's a shame.

Going up against one of the ufc’s biggest ppv of the yr

No shit. Paul and his clan are very careful when they choose an opponent. The tool fought one average boxer and lost.
He didnt have an amateur career and is still fighting much more serious opposition that most do in their early fights. Give the guy a break.

Anyways this isnt the best fight they could have made but it probably is the most promotable fight that isnt just Canelo destroying JP, and its too early for that cashout if it ever happens.

nah im not giving the guy a break. dragging a senior citizen Mike Tyson out of retirement for a cash grab was despicable
fuck that fool. hope the inside of his asshole itches for the rest of his life.

Last time I saw Jr fight was against Anderson Silva, who is pretty shot himself, also lost and got knocked down vs Jake Paul. Yet he beat Julio without much problem. I’m not sure some people comprehend just how much Jr sucks right now. He is losing this and losing badly.

What’s funny is he has a shot to redeem himself in the eyes of the fans. If he somehow managed to knock Jake Paul out, he’d be a boxing hero once more for all the wrong reasons. People in this world fail upwards I swear.

Why do you think Tommy pulled out twice. The pikeys did him over, big time. Got the script> injured> New script> visa troubles> New script, didnt stick to it :) outcome different than any other fight he had and will have. Tommys better than iron mike?

Damn, won't be able to watch this. There'll be some paint drying in my living room that I need to keep an eye on

Fuck this fight, but checks all Jake "The pussy" Pauls boxes e.g. old, far past prime, smaller and will take a dive IMO. Not watching, fuck Paul.

I'm seeing all kinds of "What will the haters say now that he's fighting a REAL boxer?" crap on social media.

Kudos to Jake for picking another easy win fight.
Chavez' style perfectly meshes with Jakes. He's 39, on the downslope of his career and hasn't had a decent win in ages.
This is a way for Jake to get another "name" on his record, optics be damned.
My theory- the top boxing guys don't want to fight him, so next up he'll fight someone like Kovalev, another once great boxer, who's been on a sad decline.
