News Jake Paul vs Ben Askren Confirmed

If Paul is such a tough guy, why doesn't he fight Askren in a MMA fight? Askren sucks as a boxer, so this guy Paul challenges him to a boxing match. Why doesn't he challenge Royce Gracie to a boxing match while he's at it? If he's a real tough guy, challenge Mike Tyson. Sick of reading about a non MMA "fighter" on this site.
 
Askren is still under contract with the ufc
 
People are overlooking Ben, he has woeful boxing but he's a high level athlete, if he takes this seriously and puts some solid boxing coaches in his corner he has a chance. If he makes it a dog fight by clinching and wearing Jake down, Jake will be exposed for his inexperience in combat sports, Jakes a front runner he looked pretty terrible in prior to knocking out Robinson, he's certainly got decent ability for a beginner but Askren is a good test for him. I just hope Askren takes it seriously because he seems to be overlooking Jakes skill, his arrogance is largely what cost him his loss to Masvidal.

Jesus Christ here you are again claiming you watched pride on live TV. PRIDE WAS NEVER ON LIVE IN THE US. Was either edited PPV that aired later on and everyone who wasn't Japanese that could watch it on fuji tv did so by staying up late and watching illegal streams or torrents/tape sharing. No one believes your bullshit I'm sure you just started watching mma

Askren may very well make more than what Bellator and UFC paid him. People will pay to watch this crap. He could make $10 million. Smart move on Askren's part, but I don't think he will win. His boxing/striking was absolute shit.
 
I don’t think Jake will KO/TKO Ben because unlike Nate Ben is actually conditioned well.

I think Jake by Unanimous Decision, Majority Decision, or Corner Retirement.

Sounds funny, but I actually think he's right. Askren has been an elite athlete winning at the highest level for decades. He's laid back, but also hypercompetitive and with an elite work ethic. He's going to drag Jake Paul into deep waters and drown him.
 
Seeing this poll makes me feel better for thinking Jake Paul will win
 
I am expecting Paul to KO him considering this is probably the best time you could catch Ben, but i'm still hoping Ben clinches him and wins a boring decision.
