Jake Paul reveals Anthony Joshua’s ‘kryptonite’

An English champion is viewed as a regional champion, not the national champion, as that would be the British champion.

Even though commonwealth champ should be a better title, a champion over dozens of nations, it’s just not seen as prestigious as the British title. I think there’s a couple of reasons for this, but it’s mainly down to consistent quality. You can win a commonwealth title against an unbeaten fighter, from a country where the domestic scene is not particularly strong. That fighter could, and in many cases is levels below British champion. To win the British title you won’t get an easy fight as the domestic scene is so strong.

It’s also viewed as more prestigious than a European title. Most elite level British fighters will look to win the British title as a stepping stone to world level. It’s a big deal over here

I always wondered which one is considered better than the others.

definitely, and lately a lot of things have happened to make the sport look bad. Jones vs. mma guy, Ngannou-Fury, Tyson-Paul. It shouldn't be that way unless someone is absolutely physically incapacitated.

This fight still boggles the mind though, what should happen is AJ should blast Paul out early and Jake won't ever know what hit him and I don't get why Jake, who's been brilliant in his getting money and attention, wll, the jig will be up. Where does he go from being a badass who picks on people who can't read a kayo punch coming at them to being kayoed by a pro who's way bigger and experienced?
Joshua-Ngannou ended all of that.
Thats what happens when its legit. Not old broken down men. Tyson had to hold back on Roy when they had their exhibition match. Fury didn't train at all clearly and the Tyson-Paul fight seemed off. Whether Tyson is that old or it was scripted. Just didnt seem fully legit.

No it didn't but the damage is done in those fights. Said it before but a wino could have tried harder.

That's the shitty thing about our sport. There's so much money involved in it that we always end up getting spectacles. Athletic commissions in the States are more than happy to sanction these shit shows as long as they'll generate revenue for them.

Out side of a world title (Not IBO) the British Title (Lonsdale Belt) is the most prestigious. Its even more prestigious if you win the lonsdale belt outright. i think you have to defend the title 3 times to win it outright

Probably European after that

The Commonwealth

English/Scottish/Welsh/N Irish champion

Southern/northern area at the bottom. Good fighters would probably be looking at this as their first title and possibly challenging within a dozen pro fights
