Jake Paul ran enough to finish a marathon and dive so much he could have won in the olympics for diving.

That obviously was the tactic just to make the fight last as long as it did.

I think Joshua also gave too much respect, also was frustrated with all the running from Paul.

Hard to hit a target running around like that and that dives to the ground as soon as Jake gets in trouble.

Very strange boxing fight, it looked more like WWE to me.

yeah it wasn't really a fight

from the opening round it didn't look like jake was trying to win. he was just trying to run away and claim 'wow guys look how long i lasted!'

also lol i've never seen a fighter get hit... play to the crowd with a 'wooo' face. and then not make the 10 count. He felt he did enough for the crowd and quit.

I think he made the count but the ref just waved it off. Dude's jaw was broken. Fair play.

Actually he wasn't just "running" he was being evasive and literally dodging everything Joshua threw using head movement, which an unskilled fighter would not be able to do. He also landed more than one flush power shots on Joshua, obviously trying to get a KO, that could've done serious damage if they weren't multiple weight classes apart.

Basically he fought like Venom Page does in MMA.

Jake Paul ran around in many of his previous fights, not surprising at all. I kind of expected his strategy. Get Joshua to come forward and overextend to expose his questionable chin.

That ref was shit. Gave every chance for Jake Paul to recover.

The only thing I was confused about is with why Anthony was willingly clinching up with Paul. Laziness on his part imo

It was a sad performance especially for someone claiming they could beat aj for years..

He should've been dq for all the diving...

He had no business in there and suffered a bad broken jaw that snapped in two places...

If you are to strain to stand across with someone you shouldn't fight them..

But it woulda been better than getting destroyed by a cruiser weight. I guess

What did you expect? He was fighting a former world champion who just knocked out Ngannou and has a huge physical advantage on him. It was an unwinnable fight from the start, that was his best shot at surviving

It sort of went how I felt it would. Jake trying to survive/get Joshua to do something dumb, Joshua not doing something dumb and waiting for the moment to beat his ass down.

The flopping around was pretty pathetic.

Lame that the ref allowed that.

Realistically Jake could have been docked points in probably every round for timidity and takedown attempts. ... you know... not BOXING - in a boxing match.

I think Canelo would knock him out too. Anybody with anything near HW power could do it.

Jake is a touch son of a bitch that was in against someone who was just levels above him as well as 50 pounds heavier. He did what he had to do to survive the early rounds maybe with the hope that Joshua would get tired and/or start making mistakes that he could capitalize on, delusional though that hope may have been. He exceeded my very low expectations.

This is the dumbest shit ever written about boxing. It's actually the opposite.
Then why did Jake make it to the 6th round when Francis got knocked out in the second?
It's because Jake was running and attempting takedowns and throwing one punch at a time. Francis chose to stand and fight.

That said I'm sure you know a lot about being retarded.

You're either a troll or completely fucking retarded
