Jailton vs Khamzat

I dont mind his success at all and I think hed beat Jailton at 205lbs. I just do not think hes 12% at 210lbs. These pictures are nonsense of Khamzat too, literally go look at Khamzat at weigh ins and in the ring, real photos, he doesnt look like this lmao.

Not exactly a very muscular guy and never looks that shredded at 185. I dont believe hes 210lbs at 12% body fat. And that spectrum photo you showed is moronic, I can find you guys who look pretty muscular with great definition and videos of them getting dexascans where they are 15% body fat. Muscle insertions, body types, how much muscle youre carrying etc. Changes your bodies appearance significantly at different body fat %. Here's a photo of someone at 9 and 15% and he has a video getting it measured to substantiate if you want me to share.

Jailton wins. Jailton very likely neutralizes Khamzat's wrestling if LW Burns was able to, not to mention he fights two weight classes above him and rag dolls guys way heavier than him. He also more than likely wins in the striking too cause of size/power diff.

Thing is Khamzat was a depleted WW and Burns was a WW he moved up in weight. Have you guys never gaiend weight. Koschel beat Rumble (Rip🕯) but he sure wasn't gonna be challenging Jon Jones like Rumble was supposed to. Sherdog gotta factor in people gain and lose size. Burns vs Khamzat was WW vs WW. Whatever their previous or todays weight was. And Burns was gold, he was in his prime.

Worst case scenario, Khamzat can "win" like Volkov. Shit he could do that with a serious injury coming in. Land a few shots and get controlled. I'd like to see the fight though.

Almeida sort of won with his last 2 losses in my book. Dethroned Blaydes as best HW wrestler by taking him down 1000x before getting KO'd by a weird shot, then controlled 98% of the fight vs Volkov besides the few punches before the takedown. It's pretty stupid anyone wants to see Volkov get a rematch with Aspinall before Almeida.

The size difference is really not big. Here is Chimaev next to Ankalaev:

Chimaev is not a small guy and the fact that he ever made 170 doesn't suggest that he is. Jailton Almeida could make 170 if he lost a bunch of muscle and cut a bunch of weight.
WW is this weird territory where guys can fluctuate their weight to extreme proportions and compete against larger opponents.

I mean yeah but my point was just that if a bulked up burns at WW could neutralize Khamzat's wrestling, I don't see how Jailton couldn't do the same to a bulked up Khamzat at LHW or even HW considering Jailton has taken down guys who have like 30 pounds on him pretty easily over and over again. Yeah we've seen Khamzat do that to guys at WW and his natural weight class MW but do you really think he could do the same at LHW or HW? Idk

Mmm you are mixing things up. If they are the same weight the size is the same. You are acting like Khamzat will come out tomorrow as MW to face a HW Jailton. There is no bulked up here. Burns moved up. He fought for the title at WW. He was a LW, was, long time ago. Khamzat wasn't smaller than Dricus just causs he fought at WW. People can legit increase their size.

Yes indeed. Because as far as the bigger framed welterweights are concerned, it is the smallest weight class where the larger framed fighters in it could put on enough mass and muscle to potentially be dangerous at heavyweight. For the record, Jailton Almeida was a welterweight himself earlier in his career:

A so called "Brazilian lab experiment" to put on all the muscle he has. Another reddit thread with a picture of him in 2018 weighing in at 84 kg (185 pounds) for a middleweight fight:

And these welterweight fights mind you continued until 2018, where he was 27 years old; not a teenager mind you, but a grown man approaching 30. By all accounts, 170 pounds is his no excess muscle, dieting, and large weight cut fight weight - same as Chimaev - while 185 would be his comfortable fight weight had he not decided to bulk up and put on all the muscle he has.

Here is a picture of Jailton Almeida when he was fighting at welterweight:

The point of all this being: Almeida has gained alot of muscle over the last few years. He has a knockout loss at welterweight or middleweight by the way against a fighter named Tyago Morreira. But I don't see anybody here holding that against him...but Chimaev getting rocked by Burns gets brought up in every thread.
