I like the guy a lot but Jack seems to play Jack in every single movie he’s in.

Great performance but it was still largely Jack. It was just Jack with OCD.

I'm talking about being a completely different person. Speaking with an accent, being weak, being stupid, etc.

Jack is always the cool gruff guy that eventually gets pissed and yells, or breaks the rules...

I mean, didn't he play the Irish mob boss in Boston? I don't even recall him having a boston accent in that movie. If anyone had an accent it should've been him.

He had an accent in Hoffa

And a damn good southern accent in Easy Rider
