I'm working on Sandow & Lewis' "Wrestling" now.

Thought you might like a teaser. I especially find the Jack-Knife Arm Scissors intriguing.

63 pages, all told.

Peace favor your sword,

Nice, can be applied off a snap down or failed shot. Finish is done by going to the standard SAS.

The way it is shown there is for pinning purposes.

Unsurprising, really considering the amateur audience.

W-64 (pg 12) shows the pin finish. The wrestler applying the lock sits and grabs the pinned wrestler's opposite leg (right leg in this case) and pulls it back, while leaning back himself. This pulls the pinned wrestler back on to his shoulders.

The text reads:
From position as shown in Illustration No. W-63, the aggressor holding opponent's left arm tightly imprisoned in the Arm Jack-Knife, turns half way in to the right side of opponent and reaching over opponent's body with his left arm, grasps opponent's right ankle with the left hand. The right leg is raised high into the air, and the fall scored as shown in Illustration No. W-64.

Peace favor your sword,
Kirk
