I swear every few weeks, I catch myself saying "that is the new worst main event for a card I've ever seen". I truly don't understand why someone would pay even $10 for a ticket to that like I wouldn't attend that card if it was free

Strickland probably could have slid in here and got a decent fight. Allen's a guy who's on a decent win streak, coming off a solid performance, is ranked and Strickland has history with him.
Too bad he's already booked against Magomedov which is just a very odd fight that doesn't do much for Strickland if he wins.

Tough situation for Allen.

All of the top ranked fighters are booked or just lost and KG is going down to WW.
I think they should ask Strickland to step in and give Abus another name like Muniz since they seem so ready for Abus to fight a ranked guy.

The UFC has reached peak levels of quality/event bleed.

They moved the co-main from last week to be this week's main event, but how could they do that this time?

The co-main event for this card is Miesha Tate vs. Mayra Bueno Silva and the co-main event from the prior week's card (May 20th, Aldana vs. Pennington 2) is Edmen Shahbazyan vs. Anthony Hernandez. Those would legitimately be the new worst headliners of all-time, though if it's Allen against some nobody it might as well be those instead.

They pretty much have to find someone legit to step in and fight Allen because they don't have any other options, unless they really wanna see how far they can push it with cutting the quality.
