Makes you wonder how many of these 'bad decisions' are related to big betting differences on that fight. Too much money being thrown around in the gambling world to think that it is immune from corruption. There was an NBA ref who went to prison for making calls during the game to help sway the bets in the favor of the mafia, who I think he had ties with. But I'm sure Uncle Dana is getting all those guys just like he is getting all of us who stream the ppvs.
 
if a judge makes a call the majority largely disagrees with things should 100% be put into to question. the judge should require time off and courses be taken. if things don't change fire them. the sport needs consistency in the scoring. you can't have issues like this. with all the gambling an money flying around this sport what it does is make it look corrupt or fake. like there is a 3rd party deciding the outcome of some fights.

i usually am never one to call robbery because they really don't happen that often. there are inconclusive fights that happen a lot where it could have went either way. i think there should be an extra round or sort of scoring system to prevent split decisions and draws. you can't run fights back next weekend inconclusive outcomes are bad for the sport. but i really don't think robberies happen often. all the ones that have happened though usually its the same judge making the scoring error.
 
chris lee has to be on drugs. how else could you give Albazi round 4? he landed like 5 strikes and didn’t do anything else. it was an incredibly clear round, if this guy can’t do his job for the easy rounds to score how the fuck does he manage to deal with the close rounds
 
City Kickboxing needs to do a better job actually teaching their guys some substance on the ground instead of merely takedown defense and survival.


Close fight, but KKF only kept himself in the fight using cheating tactics like small joint manipulation and cage grabs. If anyone needs to get fired it’s Herb Dean.

mma fans really have no clue when it comes to judging nor do even they bother to learn. not good enough.
 
you would have to put the pressure on the actual state athletic commission that employs these judges. this is the same circus every time now. constant bad decisions, uneducated fans/fighters saying "FIRE THEM NOW," and then rinse and repeat. if the fans/fighters really wanted to make a difference, they'd protest, raise awareness, contact these individual state athletic commissions to raise awareness and fire these judges. until then, they are in the backseat of the UFC, gambling agencies, other criminal agencies, and enjoy the bread and circus.
 
Sal's been a corrupt pos as long as he's been judging.

Highly disputed decisions should also be under review and they should have to earn a license each year to keep their job based off of the quality of their work. It will never happen. ACs prefer to regulate enough to get their money and turn a blind eye to the mistakes of those they employ, allowing them to screw up with impunity. It's been this way forever. No one in boxing has pushed for reform. No one in MMA will either. The same people, for the most part, oversee both, and they're commonly inept.

The contrarian crowd here doesn't help either.

How does anyone give round 4 to Albazi. There is no justification for that.
 
Adesanya has a huge platform, so while I don’t necessarily agree with the decision, it’s picking up a lot more attention that it probably deserves. Like others have said, maybe not the right call, but not a robbery. Of course Izzy is going to be vocal — that’s his friend and teammate who missed out on the winner’s purse.

Truly, though, KKF is good but not great, and probably didn’t deserve a main event or his recent title shot. Has a history of not pulling the trigger, with 5 of his 7 UFC wins coming by decision. As they always say, don’t leave it in the hands of the judges.
 
The judge who gave Albazi 1,2,3 I can live with. I didn’t see it that way(had it 49-46 KKF) but if you squint hard and tilt your head you can convince yourself. The judge who gave Albazi round 4 to me is why it’s a robbery if he scored the fight correctly the right guy would have won. Piss poor from him imo
