Izzy is acting so different this time

This one isnt a game for Izzy... probably the most important fight of his life and legacy...winning tonight pushing him to new levels legacy wise and solidifies his position with in the history of MW...all he would need to become GOAT is more title defenses then Silva
 
Alex is best pure striker in MMA . Izzy has to fight him in a striking match as he's not good enough to grapple as Alex has decent tdd.. no shit Izzy is nervous he's fighting a guy as good or better than he is at what he does best. And one that knocked him out cold a few years ago.

Weasel mma reported fans evacuating the arena at rd 3. These cards live aren't free pal. Fans leaving that early in a main event dictate the level of boredom.

Izy is one of the best strikers in the sport. That's what is so frustrating as a fan not to mention the sus antics after Costa. The fact he broke more sweat on a walk out or dancing routine than those fights.

Granted, not everyone is Justin Gaethje. I'm not expecting him to brawl nor stand in thr pocket and trade. Fans don't care for undertaker walk outs and 25 min of paddy cake. 25 min of Izy on his bicycle and Back foot. Hell, Colby hasn't a fraction of his striking power or stand-up skill and he sits down on his punches more in recent fights.

I hope it's competitive tonight. No bogus highway robbery from corrupt judges. Competitive.

Jared pushing 40 went 5rds, a gatekeeper and journeyman. Meanwhile Alex 1 shot Strickland rd1. No paddy cake. Alex would murder someone playing paddy cake.
 
I think he knows this is a big deal for his legacy and it would be hard for him knowing there’s a guy out there that has his number.

Expecting Izy to play paddy cake and on his bicycle and shooting for his life when it fails. Izy just wants to survive and the judges will hand out gift decisions. It's been worse than boxing.

With that said, Alex hits him into orbit or highway robbery. Alex has the best left hook I've ever seen in mma. Reminds me of Tito Trinidad. Hybrid-hook uppercut. Stupid crazy level of power in both hands. Great setups.

That hook on Strickland was picture, perfect, and right on the tip of the chin. Same money punch that slept Izy.

Hoping for a good fight and nobody with cte. Please be competive. No flash KO or snooze sessions.

Usman faltered, we all do. Izzy is not stupid. Izzy knows he has a tough style match up. Izzy will fight carefully but the reach advantage not there. So he will need to be more careful. Might try TD towards end of rounds . I am leaning towards Izzy since he is a smart fighter but this could be tough if Alex can land something solid.
 
Atypical behavior before the fight usually isn’t a good sign….
