I think everyone knew what Dricus meant from the beginning. That doesn't mean they liked it. And as you said he did word in a way that the others could find dismissive of them.I get the feeling Ngannou also understood what he meant even though DDP worded it poorly at first like the Edwards and Bisping situation. All 4 of them(Ngannou, DDP, Usman and Izzy) were born in Africa but only DDP is a product of the African MMA scene. Usman got his skills in America, Izzy in New Zealand and Ngannou in France/America.
Still the only one talking the loudest is the big mouth Izzy, who is in the same division. I doubt that if Dricus fought at 155, that Adesanya would address it nearly as much.
