You've seemingly got 1 unit of 25 bux that you're doing on 2 way more likely outcomes, but you're then beating 20u on an outcome that history and pattern shows is by far the most unlikely of all outcomes in this fight.

The way you've spread your stakes out makes me think you don't gamble very often, or at all.

And it's shit odds anyway. I got almost double your odds for Stoliarenko to sub Clark in the first round a few months ago, and that's a girl who is known for lots of early armbar attempts and has 8 subs. Meanwhile, Izzy has 0 subs, is known for his striking and not at all for his grappling or subs, and you got half the odds.

Again though, good luck. Will always root for someone to win a 15.00 banger like this and put a serious hurting on the bookies. That's what its all about.

I can see it but it's not likely. Alex could grapple with Israel and make a big mistake. It's possible. I don't really think there will be much grappling. It's not either fighters game. Izzy is willing to get knocked out before he shoots a takedown.

Fair points on getting the best odds. The unit sizings are just testing the water. I'm hoping for the odds to get better leading into the fight where I can put the real bets on.

Ultimately it's a bit of a fun diversion from pumping money into the markets each month on the dip and seeing it keep dipping

Israel will never submit someone in his MMA career IMO. I think Pereira won't make it look easy or anything but he's going to put Izzy out cold then get wrestlefucked by Whittaker.

He was literally moments away from submitting Tavares, tf are you on about. And Alex is a nightmare matchup for Whittaker, lanky kickboxers are his kryptonite. Whittaker's wrestling is so overrated.

The point is it's one of his main sparring and grappling partners plus he's teaching Pereira grappling. It matters lol. Most people may train at the same location as bjj black belts or something, but not really having intense grappling rolling sessions with them, so of course those don't really matter unless they are actually having hard sparring sessions or having intense grappling sessions with them.

Jan overpowered and controlled Izzy. Glover took down and submitted Jan. Pereira trains with Glover who is a better/stronger grappler than Izzy. So if Izzy were to try and do some offensive grappling, Pereira would be used to grappling with someone stronger and better than Izzy. Training with high level fighters makes a huge difference, especially if it's hard sparring and intense grappling sessions. Only way to really experience that skill level first hand is through those intense training sessions in the gym and in fights.

Why are you under the impression that most fighters don't have "intense grappling rolling sessions" with black belts?

Well, if you're just testing the waters for a bit of fun, then whatever I guess, but the way you laid out of those bets made you look clueless, is all I'm saying. Like, I don't think I'd ever put 20u on something. If I do 2-3 units on something it's because the odds are + and I'm dead sure.

Those lines probably aren't going to get much better than what they are now, by the way. I'd go ahead and just start putting on the rest of your stake for each at this point.

Looking forward to D-1 Izzy and a sub now. Fuck, that would be amazing.

I actually see a path that you can win that bet. If Izzy catches Alex, Alex collapses on the ground, Izzy jumps on top of him and gets a sub. Similar to what happened to Oliviera. It's possible but not likely. I'm gonna take the 500 bucks and take the wife out for a nice steak dinner. Good luck.

The weight thing threw me a bit. So I went with Izzy by decision. And it almost happened.

All I knew for sure was that Izzy was not going to sub Alex. I would have said the same thing if somebody said Alex would get a sub. I’m not sure where all the D1 Izzy shit came from, though.

Great card. Those last 3 fights were entertaining as fuck. I had Dustin by decision. Weili by round 1 TKO. And Izzy by decision.

The only fight I was invested in though was Carla vs Weili. There was no way Carla was beating Weili. I refused to entertain that idea for even a second. I expected Carla to break at some point before the 9 minute mark. I just thought it would happen on the feet though. I said it in the Joanna predicts Weili gets the tko in round one thread.
