iVB stands for iVisit Boxing, a live sports entertainment organization that aims to "bring boxing back to the people" through large-scale, community-focused events. Founded in 2025 by Ed Pereira, iVB is a movement focused on reimagining world-championship boxing and making it more accessible to fans.
  • World Record Attempt: iVB has announced plans to break the world record for the highest attendance at a boxing event on July 11, 2026, in San Francisco's Civic Center Plaza. The goal is to host around 140,000 spectators and surpass the current record of 135,132 set in 1941.
  • Partnership with YouTube: iVB has a multi-event partnership with YouTube to stream its world championship events live and for free to a global audience, removing traditional pay-per-view barriers.
  • The Iconic Series: In 2026, iVB plans to hold 12 world championship events in different cities worldwide as part of its "Iconic Series".
  • Community Focus: Events are designed to be cultural festivals with live entertainment and a fan village, integrating local culture and making fans active participants.

The highest paid attendance for a fight was Chavez vs Haugen in Mexico in 1993 with 132,000 people.
I guess the Zale fight was free.
Usyk-Wilder might beat it.
Will be crazy to see that crowd.

They were in charge of organizing the last Ring Magazine awards ceremony and helped with the Canelo vs Crawford event. Something of this magnitude though would be a much bigger feat if they're able to pull it off.
