The worst issue is that the bridges and overpasses aren't designed for snow and ice. They literally froze solid for days. All the highways were closed... rightfully

Also, there's no salt and sand trucks. People take them granted up north. Otherwise they'd have the same issues with ice.

I grew up in Colorado and the roads here during last year's snow (and ice afterwards) were the worst I've ever seen.
